Project Overview

This fast growing, multi-faceted industry leader asked MDG to reinforce their mission statement, 'Passionate People, Passionate about Food', in two ways: by creating a smart, energetic image to help recruit young creative talent, and by providing a better working environment for existing staff. MDG met both challenges with budget-sensitive creativity. Sunny, appetizing colours, customized furniture and whimsical food-based themes ensured that the new spaces, from The Hatchery to the Top Dogs room, are lively and attractive, yet timeless. Using a smaller workstation footprint per person achieved an increased headcount, while providing increased storage, improved ergonomics, more individual privacy and a better quality of space filled with natural light. The flexible, modular approach also extended the facility life cyle economically. The new meeting and multi-purpose spaces eliminated the previous need to rent external meeting spaces, lowering ongoing overhead costs. Challenging HVAC noise issues were also resolved. This attractive new workspace is an effective tool in the company's successful recruitment efforts.
